14 people will be able to to keep warm on the streets of Portland
I continue to the look for the best prices out there so that I can get the best value.
I will keep you all up to up to date with all that I am doing.
I appreciate and thank you for all your contributions and most importantly your prayers.
It’s been a blessing to see what God is doing.
Mathew 25 verses 31-46
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
As I live and move around the Portland area I see a need for blankets and basic clothing necessities. I was thinking about what the Lord said in Mathew 25 verses 31-46. So I have decided to collect blankets, and these clothing needs for the Portland Rescue Mission. Knowing people on the street will sleep a little warmer this winter and the winters to come.
My goal is to raise $150.00 for the 1st quarter to be used for buying blankets and clothing basics. A Local business has partnered with me and allowed me to place a donation box in their waiting room. People have already donated and it brings me great joy to deliver these blankets to those who need them.
