Hello everyone!

I’m one month away from my journey to the Gan Sabra children’s home in October. I want to thank all of you for keeping this trip in your thoughts and prayers. From everyone generosity and the grace of God I have raised $3,400 of my $4,000 goal! All of it will be going toward my efforts in serving these incredible children. Check out this article describing some of the great ways the Gan Sabra children’s home is impacting the lives of kids that were previously written off as hopeless. If you find yourself with the desire to help those less fortunate, please feel free to talk with me about Gan Sabra.

Thank you,

The orphanage of Gan Sabra is the only home for HIV infected, HIV-affected, and terminally ill children in Aizawl, the capital city of the eastern state of Mizoram.  Stigmatization and discrimination is still common among the general public.  Many of the children that live at Gan Sabra have been abandoned by their relatives and are physically underdeveloped due to their poor health.

This October, myself and a team from Westport church will be traveling to visit Gan Sabra.  We will be building relationships and ministering to the staff and kids during our time abroad.  My goal as a team member is to have God use my life as a source of love and validation for theirs.  Thank you so much for your support!
